Bizarre Creations’ The Club, published by SEGA, is scheduled for release in February, but European PlayStation 3 gamers can already sample the action thanks to a recently released playable demo on the PSN.

At 1.7GB it’s certainly on the large side, but early impressions suggest a very slick action experience that’s great fun despite the slow speed of the character included in the demo. It’s also rather unusual for PlayStation 3 gamers to get one-up over Xbox 360 owners, with no such demo available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

Also new to the PlayStation Store during the festive period were playable demos of Super Stardust HD and Snakeball.
