A console version of The Binding of Isaac is likely to happen, says the game’s creator Edmund McMillen. However, the platforms the game will appear on are unconfirmed.

“We have been talking to MS for a while, they seem to also want Isaac a lot but only time will tell if anything gets signed, MS doesn’t tend to want exclusive everything,” McMillen wrote on Formspring.

The console version will include the Wrath of Lamb expansion, plus new modes, bosses, items, playable characters, and co-op.

McMillen added: “I will handle all aspects of design, character, items, story levels bosses, but another team will be doing art/animation for these new things.”

The Zelda-like action RPG is available now on Steam.
