Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Dragon Ball FighterZ at Gamescom 2017. The short trailer gives us a brief look at the 3v3 Party mode combat, the online battle modes and a tease of the game’s story mode in a short cinematic. The game has resurrected Android 16 and introduces the terrible duo, Androids 17/18. We even see Majin Buu being kicked into a building. It looks just like TV show.
The resurrection of the evil Android 16 by Androids 17 and 18 has really messed things up, with some of the super warriors being taken out of the game. Now a mysterious army has invaded, and the rest of the gang don’t know what’s happening.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is being developed by Arc System Works, the folks behind Guilty Gear, and it’s been rightly gaining quite a bit of interest. So far it seems to really capture the visuals, the speed and insane levels of action the Dragon Ball series is renowned for.
Players can sign up for the beta from today, with the closed beta beginning on September 16-18. The beta will feature nine playable characters for you to have a dabble and grapple with. As with all beta processes, the timings of the sessions could change, but hopefully it all goes without a hitch. PS4 players can sign up on the PlayStation website. Xbox One players can sign up through the Insiders Hub.Â
Dragon Ball FighterZ will be released in early 2018 for PS4 and Xbox One.
