Dead Rising Watchtower, the feature-length movie based on Capcom’s survival horror video game series, is available to rent and buy in the UK today, Content Media has announced.
If you’re interested in giving it a watch, you’ll be able to find it digitally on iTunes and VOD platforms, or on Blu-ray and DVD.
The film skipped a theatrical release, having debuted on US streaming service Crackle in March. I’ve no idea whether it’s any good, but Rotten Tomatoes’ single ‘rotten’ review suggests it might not be up for any awards any time soon…
Dead Rising: Watchtower sees John Tucker Must Die star Jesse Metcalfe cast as Chase Carter, a reporter who finds himself locked inside a quarantine zone in Oregon following a zombie outbreak. 22 Jump Street’s Rob Riggle also makes an appearance as the series’ lead character Frank West, with 24’s Dennis Haysbert cropping up as a US Army General.
