Terraria: Otherworld, which promises to take the popular Otherworld experience in a new direction and absolutely isn’t Terraria 2, is currently in development by the teams at Re-Logic and Engine Software.
The game is set in an alternate dimension within the Terraria universe and places the player in a life-and-death struggle to restore a once-pristine world which has been overrun by a malevolent force.
With their rag-tag band of survivors players will need to harness the power of an array of weaponry, magic, defenses, and the world itself to defeat the evil.

Announced for PC and Mac, PS4 and Xbox One versions are also being considered, but the developers say “a final decision has not been made in that regard”.
