Terminator: Resistance has been delayed in North America and the game will now be released on December 10 for PC and consoles in that region (via Gematsu).

Developed by Reef Entertainment and published by Teyon, the new game is a single-player first-person shooter set 31 years after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Private Jacob Rivers is a soldier in the Resistance Pacific Division, defending what remains of Los Angeles from Skynet’s nefarious domination. Soon, he learns that he has been marked for termination and must destroy Skynet’s Defense Grid so that humanity will get one-up on the murderous machines.

Players will look forward to a range of weaponry and possible approaches to the campaign, as Reef Entertainment emphasised that stealth and hack is just as valid as run and gun. Rivers' skill set is customisable and his abilities will level up while the player progresses through the main story and side quests. We may know who wins when the sun sets on Judgment Day, but Rivers’ crew are determinant characters and each choice will change the ending of his story.

Terminator: Resistance comes out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 15 in Europe and Australia, and on December 10 in North America. Watch the new trailer below.
