The North American launch of TERA will feature a higher level cap than the original Korean title.

Writing on the official TERA forum, senior producer Brian Knox stated that the MMO would launch with a level cap of 60, not 58 as is the current cap of the Korean version.

This means current level 58 endgame dungeons will be “shuffled” to spread out content at later levels.

“Our max level will be 60 so all those 58 max level dungeons would have been a waste. We have shuffled them around – some up and some down,” said Knox.

“We will have more detailed information on it closer to open beta but it should create a much smoother progression to 60 as well as a good amount of content at level 60.”

TERA is scheduled to launch May 3.
