Upcoming action MMO TERA has just opened up its beta sign ups to users.

Interested players who register on the official website will be in the running to enter the European closed beta.

Publisher Frogster will be giving users more information in the next few weeks.

Those who register by January 13 at 11:30 CET will enter into a draw to win one of the first 1000 closed beta passes. However more invites will follow soon after for those who weren’t so lucky.

TERA is scheduled to launch in spring of 2012.

We recently had the chance to speak to the game’s producer Stephan Krippendorf about the state of the game and how TERA plans to prove it’s not just another WoW clone.
