In what we’re going to assume was a mistake and/or massive oversight rather than something deliberate, the second episode of Telltale’s Batman: The Enemy Within contains an image of Russian diplomat Andrei Karlov, who was assassinated last year at the opening of an art exhibition in Turkey.

The second episode of the second season of Telltale’s Batman series is called The Pact, and at one point shows a scene depicting a break-in at the Gotham Brokerage involving Harley Quinn. The image uses Karlov’s body, from a photograph taken almost immediately after he was shot by a Turkish police officer. The image from the game is below, so be warned that it has an actual victim of assassination in it.

Hopefully this was a case of an artist using the image mistakenly, rather than thinking it was a bit of a laugh to hide a real assassination in there and that they wouldn’t get caught for it. The dev team are probably already feverishly working on a patch.
