Telltale Games and Gearbox Software have announced ‘Tales From The Borderlands’, an episodic Borderlands spin-off due for release in 2014.
The game promises to take players to familiar locations across Pandora and build relationships with existing characters from the Borderlands universe.
“One of the main things about Pandora and the Borderlands universe is that it’s a rich place,” said Gearbox president Randy Pitchford, speaking during this evening’s VGX awards. “There’s a lot of things you can do. Rather than fit in with one of our storylines we wanted to give [Telltale] the keys to the kingdom.”
Platforms for the game have yet to be announced.
