Tekken X Street Fighter has not been cancelled, series producer Katsuhiro Harada has said.

The crossover, which was announced way back in July 2010 alongside Capcom’s Street Fighter X Tekken, has never been detailed nor received any gameplay footage at all, but Harada insists that it’s still part of the team’s plans.

“[Tekken X Street Fighter is] still in development and it’s still moving forward,” Harada said in response to a question at San Diego Comic-Con (reported by Polygon).

“It is proceeding. It hasn’t been canceled, so please relax,” he added.

Bandai Namco recently announced Tekken 7, along with a full debut trailer revealing Kazumi Mishima, wife of Heihachi, who is thought to play a key role in the conclusion of the Mishima saga.
