A free title update for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 adds three new characters, four new stages, and an ‘Online World Arena’, and provides further tweaks to existing fighters.
The update, which was announced by game director Katsuhiro Harada earlier this morning, is allegedly available to download on PlayStation 3 today.
A Namco Bandai representative told VideoGamer.com that the update will also be live on Xbox 360 “this week”.
The three characters include bikini clad Miharu, Slim Bob and butler Sebastian, while the new stages are set in Russia, Saudi Arabia, Chile, and Poland.
Online World Arena is said to function similarly to Soulcalibur V’s ‘Global Colosseo’, and introduces online tournaments and further leaderboard functionality. Load times for customised characters are also said to have been improved.
The content featured in the title update will also be included on the disc of the upcoming Wii U release, Namco Bandai confirmed.
