Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has today confirmed that Thursday’s PlayStation Store update will include the highly anticipated release of Tekken 5: DR Online. This will mark the series’ online debut, with players the world over able to take part in bouts against one another.
Those who’ve already purchased Tekken 5: DR from the PS Store can buy the online upgrade for only £3.49, or newcomers can buy the full game including online for £14.99. The non-online version of the game will be removed form the store on November 8.
This does mean that PlayStation 3 gamers can make a sneaky saving by purchasing the offline version today (priced £6.99) and then upgrading to online tomorrow (£3.49), bringing the total to only £10.48 and saving £4.51.
