Someone might have to take Microsoft back to the mechanics, after an early build of Forza Horizon 4 was accidentally pushed to the Microsoft Store on PC and offered to some users to download over the weekend.
It seems the issue effected those who had pre-ordered the upcoming racer's Ultimate Edition found a download starting such as user daten-shi on Reddit who noticed the 90GB file.
The files were unable to be launched, and data-miners found them to be encrypted, but the official Forza Twitter account acknowledged the leak in a Tweet, informing those effected that they could safely uninstall the data, although those with capped broadband connections will be undoubtedly displeased.
Today, some of you noticed Forza Horizon 4 game files preloading on your PCs. This was not intended and you don’t have to do anything. The final game will download automatically when it is released. If you’d like, you can safely uninstall the downloaded files.
