Let's put the logistics of why the 'fastest thing alive' Sonic the Hedgehog is racing in a car to one side for a bit and enjoy the Team Sonic Racing launch trailer, that Sega's put out ahead of the game's launch next week.
Just in case you need a refresher, this iteration focuses on the 'Team' part of that name, seeing Sonic and his friends join squads as they race each other around a series of brand new tracks. There is, as you may remember from the previous trailer, a bunch of customisation options too.
Team Sonic Racing hits PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch next week, on May 21.
