LA Noire studio Team Bondi has sold its assets and IP to KMM, according to a report on Develop. Staff at the studio have been offered new jobs or allowed to take severance pay.

KMM is a production studio in Sydney that works across a variety of media, thought to be currently working on the video game for upcoming film Happy Feet 2. The LA Noire IP is owned by Rockstar Games, which currently has its Leeds studio working on a PC version of the hit game.

It was thought that Team Bondi was filing for bankruptcy.

Despite Team Bondi’s financial problems, LA is widely regarded as one of the best games of 2011. We awarded the game 10/10 in our LA Noire review.
