Virtual pet fans have something to look forward to later this year, with the August release of Tamagotchi Party On! for Wii. Described as a 3D party game, Tamagotchi Party On! will offer plenty of fun as four players go head-to-head in a comical race to become the most popular Tamagotchi on Tamagotchi Planet.
Players choose their favourite virtual pet and then take part in a series of mini-games in a quest to become president of Tamagotchi Planet. Popularity can be gained by taking part in more than 15 mini-games, such as shaking hands, finding lost children, and testing your public speaking skills. In order to be the best, players will have to swing, shake, point and twist their Wii controllers, all the time increasing their popularity.
Players will earn Gotchi points along the way, and these can then be used to level up their character and customise their Tamagotchi headquarters.
