Take-Two is an early supporter of Nintendo Switch, promising to launch a version of NBA 2K18 on the platform in September, but CEO Strauss Zelnick isn’t ready to begin investing heavily into the system.

“With regard to Switch, we’re excited about Switch,” Zelnick explained in a Q&A following its Q3 earnings call overnight. “We’re supporting Switch with NBA 2K18. We’ve said we’re supporting the platform. I’ve said over and over again that when Nintendo comes to market you never want to count them out. So, we’re excited about it. The only thing we’ve announced so far is the basketball title.”

Like many publishers it seems Take-Two is taking a wait and see approach to Switch, especially given its major IPs don’t really lend themselves to direct ports to the relatively under  powered hardware.

Switch launches March 3.
