Take Two Interactive has launched a placeholder website for “Citizen Skywatch”. The big question is whether this is a new game or a tie-in for an existing Take Two title.
A whosis search reveals that Take Two Interactive registered the domain in April of this year, and that that the registrar address is identical to that of Rockstar’s official website, which could suggest the existence of a new IP.
However, with gamescom in full swing later this week, it’s possible that the website may host BioShock Infinite or XCOM-related content.
In addition to the website, which features a blank page with an art-deco font which recalls the original BioShock, NeoGAF members have also spotted Twitter and Youtube accounts branding the “Citizen Skywatch” moniker.
Take Two has yet to comment the website’s purpose, but it’s likely that more details will be revealed during gamescom this week.
