NCsoft Europe has announced that Richard Garriott’s Tabula Rasa has reached gold status and will launch in Europe and North America on October 19, 2007. As a bonus for those that pre-order, the servers will open three days earlier giving them access from October 16.
“It has been a heck of a journey,” said Richard Garriott, the game’s Executive Producer. “The fact that we are getting ready for the final stretch towards launch feels great, but it is also just the beginning. I think we’ve managed to do something truly unique and I hope that the gaming community likes it as much as we do.“
Garriott also adds that the development team is now switching focus to the creation of “new planets and innovations for future expansions of Tabula Rasa“.
Tabula Rasa will be available priced £29.99 and will also be offered as a Limited Edition box priced £49.99. The game will give players one month access to the game with a monthly subscription of £8.99 required thereafter.
