Lucid Games has staple-gunned a January 22 release date to Switchblade on PC and PlayStation 4.

In case you haven't been keeping up, Switchblade is a free-to-play action MOBA that takes place in the neon-lit future. Players slug it out in massive vehicles with the aim of sending opposing towners crumbling to the ground, although to keep things interesting, you are able to pick two vehicles and switch them out at any time.

This apparently opens the up the door of a multitude of tactical possibilities, with each vehicle boasting its own unique abilities. What's more, there's four car classes to pick from, so you should find something you can get to grips with.

Lucid Games is also planning plenty of post-launch support for Switchblade, with the press release confirming extra cosmetics, maps, modes, and vehicles are in the pipeline.

Switchblade previously rolled out in Early Access last summer.
