GamesIndustry.biz reports that PlayStation 3 exclusive first-person shooter Resistance 2 is yet to go on sales at host of major UK retailers because of supply issues.

Distributor Entertainment UK has thus far been unable to supply stock of the high profile title to customers which include Zavvi, WHSmith and Currys.digital. The game’s release date was November 28 and has been on sale at non-EUK stores including GAME and HMV.

Having gone into administration, Deloitte has been appointed as administrators to the distributor and is attempting to rescue the outfit.

A Deloitte spokesperson commented: “Since EUK went into administration, the administrators have either met or spoken with the majority of customers and suppliers and constructive talks are ongoing.”

The spokesperson also added that the company couldn’t confirm when the affected stores can expect to receive stock.
