Speaking to the Canwest News Service, DJ and producer David Guetta has revealed that Activision is readying a second game in the DJ Hero franchise.

“I think it’s amazing, this game, and I’m going to work on the No. 2 version,” said Guetta, the European ambassador for DJ Hero. “It’s a really crazy game. After 10 minutes, you get the rush that a DJ gets after 10 years of practising. I have fun with it, but you know what? I can’t go to the maximum level. It’s too difficult for me. It’s crazy.”

DJ Hero was released in October 2009, but despite generally positive reviews hasn’t thus far been a huge commercial success – towards the end of the year many retailers were discounting the £100 peripheral-based title to around £60.
