Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has announced that upcoming Mario sequel, Super Mario Galaxy 2, will be released this year. What’s more, the new Zelda game will be shown this summer.
“Super Mario Galaxy 2, a Mario action title in 3D world, will be launched this year,” said Iwata during the platform holder’s third quarter financial results briefing. “And, we will show the new Zelda title for Wii at this year’s E3.”
This is great news for all Nintendo fans. Nintendo will also use E3 to show new titles for its Wii Vitality Sensor, said Iwata.
