A new line of amiibo figures will launch as part of the Super Mario Collection on March 20, Nintendo has announced.

The new collection features new models of Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi and Bowser, plus the introduction of Toad. The figures which crossover with those found in the Super Smash Bros. range – Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi and Bowser – have the same functionality in all compatible games.

In addition, figures based on Robin, Lucina, Charizard, PAC-MAN, Wario and Ness, which are compatible with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, will launch on April 24.

Furthermore Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker will be updated on March 20 to enable amiibo support. Tap the Toad amiibo to the GamePad and a new hide-and-seek mode in which players search for pixel art Toads will be activated.
