Techland has announced the ‘Summer with Dying Light’, a six-week campaign offering a range of special in-game events designed to make players’ playtime “even more exciting”.
The campaign begins later tomorrow with Spider-Crane, an in-game stat-modifying event that will offer players unlimited grappling hook shots and reduced fall damage. Look out for that from 8am BST tomorrow morning until 8am Monday.
Next weekend’s event will see players take part in the ‘Harran Marathon’, although details on that have yet to be confirmed.
The campaign is separate to Dying Light’s #DrinkforDLC campaign, which aims to reward players with free DLC for posting a picture of themselves drinking water.
Dying Light launched on PS4, Xbox One and PC in January, and became the fastest-selling new IP in the survival-horror genre.
