Street Fighter V will be getting a PS4-exclusive online beta from July 23rd.
Sony made the announcement during its E3 press conference. There will be three separate beta phases, but only the first has been detailed thus far and will remain exclusive to PS4. Capcom has stated the beta will be used to gather fan feedback over the game’s battle systems and online features ahead of release. For fans wishing to take part in the beta, head over to www.streetfighter.com and follow the steps in order for your chance to get involved.
Cammy and Birdie have also been announced as the two latest characters to join the roster. Birdie uses his chain to grab players and close distances as a slower brawler, while Cammy maintains her lightning-fast quickness to move around the fight and can also use her V-Skill to move around projectile attacks.
Street Fighter V launches on PS4 and PC in March 2016.
