After much twiddling your thumbs you can now put them to good use – Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting has finally made it onto Xbox Live Arcade. For 800 Microsoft points the game will be yours, and as usual there’s also a free demo to try before you part with your cash.
The biggest pull of this Xbox Live Arcade version is the inclusion of Xbox Live play, bringing the competition from the arcades into your living room. There’s also the usual Arcade mode, two-player Versus, customizable controls, and 12 achievements to play for.
The game’s sure to be a big hit, but worryingly there’s already been some reports of lag in online matches. However, there are also plenty of gamers rejoicing in the lag-free joy of online SFII Hyper Fighting.
