There’s still no news on whether arcade beat-em-up Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes will be released outside of Japan.

In an update on its blog, Capcom’s Seth Killian said: “No news yet on whether this game will be released outside of Japan, but I’m keeping all of my fingers crossed twice.”

TvC has garnered a great deal of hype from fighting game aficionados since its reveal. It combines classic Capcom characters, like Ryu from Street Fighter II and Roll from Mega Man, with characters from Japanese animation studio Tatsunoko Production.

While it’s unlikely UK arcades will see the game, it has been confirmed for release on the Nintendo Wii in Japan, so there is hope for a home console release on these shores.
