Snooker will soon have a new home on the Nintendo DS when World Snooker Championship Season 2007-08 is released on the handheld on October 26.
To help promote the game six-time World Snooker Champion, Steve ‘The Nugget’ Davis is to feature in a number of online an offline marketing activities and PR events. The charismatic player will also be proving exclusive signed merchandise.
Davis will also star in the game alongside 95 other professional players including Ronnie O’Sullivan, Graeme Dott, Peter Ebdon, Neil Robertson, and John Higgins. The game will also feature nine official tournaments and a host of game modes.
“Snooker video games continually amaze me with level of detail and accuracy that goes into them. I’m looking forward to working with Koch Media on this release for Nintendo DS – although I have pointed out that the cue that comes with this handheld is a lot shorter than the one I’m used to,” commented Steve Davis.
World Snooker Championship Season 2007-08 is scheduled for release in the UK on October 26.
