A Steep Open Beta will begin tomorrow on PS4, Xbox One and PC, with pre-loading now available on the PC Uplay client.
The beta runs November 18 to 21 and features “dozens of challenges through three of the seven regions”. The regions are the Aravis, the Tyrol and the Needles.
The beta will also offer nine Mountain Stories, which are narrative-based challenges that on completion will unlock new gear for players to customise their characters.
Although the Open Beta is running only weeks before the game’s December 2 launch, progress made in the beta will not carry over the full game.
