The PlayStation State of Play November 2025 start time has been announced by Sony, and the publisher has teased that the event will include a slew of “great games” from Japan and across Asia. It’s very likely the final PlayStation showcase for 2025, and it is set to begin soon.

When does the PlayStation State of Play November 2025 Start?

The official start time for the PlayStation State of Play November 2025 is 2PM PT/5PM ET/10PM GMT on November 11th. These hours are officially confirmed by the PlayStation Blog.

Sony hasn’t namedropped any games for the event, but it will focus on “games created in Japan and across Asia”. There will also be a “few other exciting updates,” but this isn’t elaborated on.

According to Sony’s tease, there will be games belonging to “beloved series,” and there will also be “distinctive indie creations”. Brace yourself for interviews with developers, too.

How to Watch PlayStation State of Play November 2025

You will be able to watch the PlayStation State of Play November 2025 live on YouTube. It will feature Japanese audio but with English subtitles. Some of your favorite streamers may also be broadcasting the event so you can watch alongside them.

Sony has said the event will last “more than 40 minutes,” so make sure to get some snacks ready. It will also be hosted by voice actor Yuki Kaji.

Possible Leak

There aren’t many rumors for the upcoming showcase, but on the GamingLeaksAndRumors subreddit there is the suggestion that Sony might be set to announce a Japan-only PS5 Digital Edition console for ¥50,000.

This is rumored to launch on November 21st and would be a reduction from ¥72,980. Not only that, but it would also price-match the Nintendo Switch 2 at ¥49,980 with no game. We don’t know how credible this rumor is, but hopefully it’s true for the Japanese community.

There are a lot of great games from Japanese developers and publishers to anticipate. Of course, there’s Resident Evil Requiem from Capcom coming in February next year, and there’s also Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 of which development is “going well,” according to its director.

We look forward to all of the announcements and gameplay demonstrations for today’s showcase, and hopefully things won’t be coming out too far into the distant future.
