The best StarCraft II players in the UK will head to London on June 30 and July 1 to compete in the World Championship Series UK Nationals for the right to be crowned UK champion and represent their country at the StarCraft II World Championship Series Europe Finals.

The 16 competitors have each earned an all-expenses-paid trip to the UK Nationals by winning open qualifiers hosted on the Electronic Sports League website.

A $15,000 prize fund has been provided by Blizzard, as well as three spots in the Europe Finals in September.

Taking place at BAFTA, the event is expected to attract over 1,000 spectators with tickets available from esl.eu/uk.

The event will also be broadcast live over the internet on ESL TV, with Nick “Tasteless” Plott and Dan “Artosis” Stemkoski (GomTV) providing commentary.
