Star Wars: The Old Republic is now free to play up to level 15 when registering for a trial, EA and BioWare have announced.

The trial allows individuals, without a previously active Star Wars: The Old Republic game account, to see a portion of the game with no payment required and no time limit.

Players will get to experience the opening adventures of each of the eight character classes in the game, exploring their classes’ Origin World. Additionally, Free Trial players will have the chance to face off against other players in Player-vs.-Player Warzones, or join up with friends and play through a Flashpoint.

The trial is open to new players, including those who have participated in Weekend Pass Free Trials or the Friends of Star Wars: The Old Republic Trial.

To continue playing beyond level 15 the full game must be purchased.
