Star Wars: The Old Republic PvP will be playable at this year’s Gamescom, according to BioWare’s European community manager Chris Collins.

According to Collins on the official Star Wars: The Old Republic forum, there are plans to create “community rooms” at the event which will be dedicated to 8v8 PvP matches in the Alderaan Civil War Warzone.

The “community rooms” will be made available to The Old Republic community, however there are no details on whether it will be available to the public on show floor kiosks.

To join, you are asked to sign up for a community room slot and winners will be chosen at random.

Those who want to get involved can email [email protected] with your name and the day you’d like to play. Users can also register up to three of their friends.

Entries will be accepted until Monday, August 8 at 1600 CET.
