After releasing in North America and Europe late last December, Star Wars: The Old Republic is finally scheduled to hit Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore in one month’s time.

The game will be available in stores on March 1, where users will be able to play on regional servers.

Players within these countries who have had an active Star Wars: The Old Republic account prior to February 28 will be able to request a free character transfer for a limited time to an Asia Pacific server after the March launch.

Standard Editions of the game will be available in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, and Singapore for $79.99 AUD, $89.99 NZD, $389.00 HK, $64.00 S, respectively.

The MMO currently has a userbase of 1.7 million subscribers over North America and Europe.

With 1.7 million already under its belt it will be interesting to see how its numbers do once it opens itself up to the Asian market. WoW gained a massive influx when it opened its doors to China in particular.
