The news of a new website isn’t earth shattering but when the website is for a new Star Wars game people sit up and take note. LucasArts has launched the official website for its upcoming Star Wars game, The Force Unleashed. The game is in development for next-gen platforms, PlayStation 2, PSP and Nintendo DS.
At the moment the site doesn’t feature much in the way of content but visitors can get a brief description of the new game and check out a weekly developer blog. So far only one post has been made, revealing that the game’s story focuses on a completely new character.
“We’d like to start this regular feature with one big reveal: the story revolves around a completely new character, Darth Vader’s Secret Apprentice,” says Assistant Producer Brett Rector. “For now, we’re going to let your mind wander and ponder just what we might have in store for this character.“
Be sure to check the site next week because we’re promised a “full-scale assault on the making of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.“
