According to Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia, who recently met with EA, the publisher believes BioWare’s Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO can achieve subscriptions of over two million players.
EA has previously stated that the game is the “largest ever development project, period, in the history of the company.”
The game won’t, however, need to reach the two million mark in order to break even. According to Bhatia, this can be achieved by gaining a little over a million subscribers.
Star Wars: The Old Republic is scheduled for release in spring 2011.
