It's tough being a Star Wars fan sometimes. Solo appears to be flopping like fish out of water at the box office, and Star Wars Battlefront II's reputation has pretty much been irrevocably damaged following the whole loot box debacle.

Fortunately, it's not all doom and gloom. Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass service has been beefed up with more Star Wars games than you can shake a lightsaber at, including the utterly brilliant Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

In case you missed out on it, Knights of the Old Republic was released in 2003 on Xbox and is probably one of the best Star Wars games out there.

Developed by BioWare and directed by future Mass Effect overlord Casey Hudson, Knights is a sprawling RPG that takes place some 4,000 years before the formation of the Galactic Empire, and sees the Jedi attempting to stop a deadly Sith threat that threatens the Republic.

Also up for grabs is Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, which lets you play as Darth Vader's apprentice while proving unequivocally that Sith are just way more interesting than the Jedi. Still, if you like fighting for the good guys, you can do so in the sequel.

Rounding things out is Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, which packs in 36 levels across the first six Star Wars episodes.
