Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures has reached 8 million registered users since its launch last year, Sony Online Entertainment has announced.

In celebration of this, as well as the fourth season of the Cartoon Network series, SOE has developed a new mini-game, according to the official website.

“SOE is creating a new mini-game Aquatic Assault, a top-down 2D action game set in the Mon Calamari battle depicted in the premiere episode of season four. Players will take control of Kit Fisto and his Diver Propulsion Vehicle and attempt to defeat waves of enemies including Aqua Droids, Quarren and Karkaradon.”

Additionally players who log in today will receive 5000 Galactic Credits and either a Negotiator or Vigilance pistol.

Clone Wars Adventures is an online virtual world based on the television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The game launched last September.
