Square Enix today announced that Star Ocean: The Last Hope will be released across all PAL territories on June 5, 2009 for Xbox 360.

The first Star Ocean game on Xbox 360, The Last Hope from tri-Ace, is a prequel which promises to continue the series’ traditions of soaring space opera, science fiction and fantasy. The game features a refined four-party member system and a team-oriented real-time battle system

“We are delighted to bringing this exciting new chapter of the critically acclaimed Star Ocean series to Europe and PAL territories,” commented John Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix Ltd. “Star Ocean: The Last Hope is a stunning and captivating adventure, set to delight both fans of the previous adventures and newcomers alike.”

The game has been fully localised for PAL territories with French, German, Spanish and Italian subtitles and menu screens.
