Sci-fi JRPG Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness will release in North America on June 28 and Europe on July 1, Square Enix has announced. The game is believed to be exclusive to PS4 in the west.

Arriving seven years after previous entry Star Ocean: The Last Hope, Integrity and Faithlessness tells the tale of Fidel, a swordsman who heads off on an adventure across space to protect a “mysterious girl” called Relia.

The game introduces the option to have seven characters in a single party, and features “many new and additional game items and content” that producer Shuichi Kobayashi hopes will encourage fans to “replay the game for added value”.

“We would really like to get your support so that we can continue to tell more ‘tales of the sea of stars’,” he said.
