IGN is reporting on a roundtable interview session that followed Microsoft’s Xbox 360 RPG press conference, in which Square Enix producer Yoshinori Yamagishi clarified the exclusivity of Star Ocean 4 for Xbox 360.
Although the game was only referred to as an Xbox 360 game during the press conference, it was never identified as an Xbox 360 exclusive.
“We cannot announce anything on that. We can say that it will be released first [on the Xbox 360]. Whether we’ll release it on the PS3 is undecided. We may release it, we may not,” explained Yamagishi.
It could end up being a similar situation to that of Last Remnant which is releasing first on Xbox 360 and will later appear on PS3.
