Feast your eyes on the first gameplay footage from Star Citizen’s in-development first-person shooter module.
The footage comes from PAX Australia this weekend when Cloud Imperium Games boss Chris Roberts took to the stage for a live four-player FPS demo.
The current state of FPS mode is a little ropey, but Roberts says that the CryEngine 3-powered game will deliver Crysis-level visuals on its arrival in early 2015. Developer Illfonic has experience with the engine, having previously created CryEngine 3 multiplayer shooter Nexuiz.
The full Star Citizen game is planned for release in 2016.
