STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl has been delayed once again, this time until November. With a previous release date initially scheduled for September, it has now been moved back to November 20th.

“We know you might be tired of waiting, and we truly appreciate your patience. These two additional months will give us the chance to fix more “unexpected anomalies” (or simply “bugs”, as you call them). We are always grateful for your ongoing support and understanding – it means the world to us. We’re just as eager as you are to finally release the game and for you to experience it for yourself,” Yevhen Grygorovychh, Game Director at GSC World, has said.

GSC World had posted a preview trailer on its YouTube channel, captioned “Really, Again?”

This is likely in reference to the numerous other delays that the game has had to experience. It had once been scheduled for a release in 2022, though Russia’s war in Ukraine proved to be a key obstruction in this.

The news also comes alongside the announcement that there’s going to be a Developer Deep Dive on August 12th, providing an opportunity for fans to find out more about the current state of development.
