EA’s SSX reboot has been given a release date in North America. The game’s listing on EA’s website has revealed that it will hit stores on February 14. No UK date has been given, but standard release date practice suggests we’ll get the game over here on February 17.
SSX had previously been given a January release window. “SSX will be the most innovative, feature-rich snowboarding game of all time,” said Jamin Smith in a hugely enthusiastic SSX preview from earlier in the year.
Fans will be disappointed with the wait, but the release date might present other problems. February 17 puts it in between the release of The Darkness 2 and Inversion, and Sony’s PlayStation Vita.
