Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition is now available as downloadable content, priced at 1200 Microsoft Points via Xbox LIVE or £11.99 on PSN. A full retail version will also be made available in Europe on June 24 and North America on June 28.
SSIV: Arcade Edition increases the total character roster to 39, adding four new characters: Evil Ryu, well-known twins Yun and Yang from Street Fighter III, and an all new character, Oni. Each has their their own unique move sets and super combos. All the returning characters in the roster have also been rebalanced.
The replay channel has also been fined tuned and makes it easier for players to share their favourite battles and watch the best of the best from the SSFIV community in action on an “Elite Channel”.
Owners of the original SSIV who don’t opt for the expansion “will still be able to play online against Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition players via a free downloadable update.
