Final Fantasy publisher Square Enix has announced it will be offering a glimpse at its upcoming slate at E3 2018 with a dedicated showcase event.

Those of you who remember the company's last effort three years ago will be pleased to know that Square Enix has apparently learned from its mistakes. Funnily enough, it turns out that having a bunch of guys walking around in expensive suits talking about games just isn't all that interesting.

Instead, the publisher will be offering a Nintendo Direct-style video presentation that has been 'produced in advance.' It'll be available in English and Japanese, and kicks off on June 11 at 10.00am PT, with streams up for grabs on Facebook, Mixer, Twitch, Twitter, and YouTube.

'We’ll connect you to the many worlds within our universe,' says Square Enix, who unsurprisingly didn't go into any further details on what we can expect to see.

Still, with Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Kingdom Hearts 3 both due to ship this year, we think it's a safe bet to assume we'll see both at the show. Maybe we'll get another look at Final Fantasy 7 Remake if they're feeling generous, though we wouldn't bet on it.
