Square Enix Montreal is hiring staff to work on a “cool unannounced mobile game”, according to an update posted on the developer’s Facebook page.

The studio says that it is “expanding quite a bit” as it prepares for the new game, with 14 vacancies advertised in the post.

Unfortunately, the studio doesn’t offer any hints as to what the new game may be, although it’s likely to be linked to an existing Square Enix franchise.

Square Enix Montreal previously developed last year’s mobile strategy spin-off Hitman Go and is currently putting the finishing touches to mobile shooter Hitman Sniper.

The studio was initially founded to work on the first Hitman title for PS4 and Xbox One, but was realigned to focus on mobile titles after the project was scrapped.
