The second Boom Blox title, Bash Party, is yet to make it to stores, but Steven Spielberg, who created the title with EA, is already thinking of a third game in the Wii block puzzle series.

“You can become a creator at home,” Spielberg told Reuters. “You can become a participant and you can become an activist. It’s a really wonderful way to empower players to share their ideas with the world and give us better ideas for our own future of the next iteration beyond Bash Party.”

Although the original Boom Blox didn’t get off to the strongest of starts on its release in May 2008, it is said to have been somewhat of slow burner, having now sold close to a million units worldwide.

The second game, Boom Blox Bash Party, is scheduled for release later this month.
